-- Great All Arounder --
I bought this bike in 2009 with only 2900 miles. It was in mint condition and already had a slip on exhaust (Scorpion) and upgraded aftermarket seat. I went to work and sent the front forks out to Race Tech for emulators and new springs/ oil and then ordered a nice rear shock w/ reservoir from ELKA in Candada, This bike's weak spot is the suspension. Once done, it is awesome. The 650 is not big but makes such useable power the bike is super easy to ride and bulletproof motor. Change the brake fluid every year and the coolant (I use Zerex Asian car formula) every 3 years or so and the oil (Mobil Delvac 15w40) and it will last forever. I recently upgraded to CORE stainless brake lines and....WOW... what a difference. Luke at CORE makes great lines and for very affordable. I might buy another bike (the SV650 is returning for 2017!!!) but I will never sell my '07!.
Upgrades/Accessories
Sergeant seat. Race Tech emulators/ springs CORE brake lines.
